HASSALLS BRING ‘ULTIMATE BLOKE AUCTION’ TO ROMA

Australian valuation experts Hassalls will be auctioning millions of dollars’ worth of equipment to South West Queensland locals in Roma from 10am, Saturday 23 July.

The sale, dubbed the ‘Ultimate Bloke Auction’, is expected to ignite a buying frenzy with more than $1 million dollars-worth of used drilling and construction equipment spread across 250 lots up for grabs.

Hassalls Australasian Sales Director Rob Alexander said at least a few hundred people are expected and there’s something for everyone.

“Our auctions are a great opportunity for local farmers, businesses and tradespeople to pick up quality products at a fraction of the cost of new equipment.” Mr Alexander said.

“We’re selling anything from lifting slings to drilling equipment and trucks all at competitive prices. This is probably the closest thing to bloke-heaven on earth.”

Mr Alexander said the auction has a large quantity of converted shipping containers.

“We have more than 25 shipping containers that have been converted into accommodation units, kitchens, workshops and even ablutions,” he said.

“All buyers are welcome to join us on-site or via webcast. Just make sure you get a good night sleep as we’re expecting a big turnout and we expect many buyers will get some great deals.”

“Our regional auctions are more than a great opportunity for buyers to secure some quality equipment, many locals take the opportunity to get something to eat and drink after the sale and have a chat.”
