ReAmped Energy is an independent energy retailer that aims to provide the lowest prices for energy in South East Queensland and New South Wales, while striving to empower consumers with the knowledge to make informed choices about energy. ReAmped Energy entered Australia with a clear vision to disrupt the energy market. The retailer’s goal is to establish itself as a trustworthy and transparent energy company that provides customers with prices reflective of the actual cost of energy.

Elevate was engaged to support ReAmped Energy’s launch into the Australian market through strategic public relations and assist the company engage with a new generation of economical and technologically savvy energy users.

 

ReAmped Energy’s PR program includes:

  • The creation of a detailed communications strategy, including an editorial schedule to identify newsworthy story opportunities
  • Researching and identifying topical issues in the energy space
  • Drafting and distributing media releases which position the company’s CEO, Jason Donald, as a thought leader who can provide commentary on the industry
  • Facilitating interviews with key media contacts to build brand awareness and generate interest among ReAmped Energy’s key stakeholders

Campaign Achievements

  • Achieved coverage in major traditional outlets, including the three primary broadcast news programs in Queensland: Channel 7, 9 and 10
  • Supported the achievement of more than 1,400 membership sign-ups in the first three months of Australian operation
  • Drove website traffic through traditional media engagement, including more than 1,400 unique visitors to the website following the broadcast of a story on Channel 9 – ReAmped’s highest traffic day to date
  • Successfully positioned ReAmped’s CEO as an industry thought leader through regular media interviews
