CENTRAL QUEENSLAND TO HOST MAJOR ONSITE AUCTION

CENTRAL QUEENSLAND TO HOST MAJOR ONSITE AUCTION

Local and Interstate buyers are expected to snap up several million dollars-worth of second hand equipment at Hassalls’ on-site auction in Dysart on Wednesday 14 September from 10am.

More than 200 lots featuring dozer, trucks, trailers, demountable buildings, construction equipment and miscellaneous scrap will be auctioned on-site and simulcast via web.

Hassalls Strategic Account Director Steve Wainhouse said his team is expecting a huge turnout on the day, with local farmers, tradies and small businessmen looking to pick up a great deal on quality second hand equipment.

“The variety and quantity of equipment on offer is monumental,” Mr Wainhouse said.

“There is everything from trailer mounted Communication towers to a pair of very large galvanised steel gates with posts and drive units. Plus there is a great selection of generators, pumps, lighting towers and tanks.”

“This auction means a great deal to us and the local communities who will, on the day, get the pick of what’s on offer,” Mr Wainhouse said.

A huge turnout is expected following record-breaking attendance at last week’s auction in Gracemere, which surpassed Hassalls sale estimates by more than 120 per cent.

For those who can’t make it on the day live webcast bidding is available. Buyers will need to visit Hassalls’ website here prior to the sale to register.
