EVERYTHING MUST SELL AT UNRESERVED AUCTION IN GLADSTONE

Hundreds of local farmers, tradies and small business owners are set to descend on Hassalls’ Gladstone auction yard, which will host its next unreserved on-site auction from 10am on Thursday 27 April.

The sale, which is being held on behalf of vendors Queensland Alumina Ltd and Boyne Smelters, will feature more than 160 lots of second-hand equipment, including a range of Toyota Hilux’s, Isuzu trucks, bobcats and other earthmoving machinery, construction materials, warehouse equipment and miscellaneous scrap.

Hassalls Central Queensland Business Development Manager, Darren Dreaver said there will be a range of useful and unique products for almost everyone who comes down on the day.

“We’ve got more than 15 Toyota Hilux’s, some small tippers, heaps of tools and construction equipment, and even a remote-controlled Caterpillar 277C skid steer loader,” Mr Dreaver said.

“We typically hold these sales online, but decided to hold this one on-site due to the popularity of our recent sales, and to give back to the local families and community that have given so much to the region over the years.”

Online bidding is available to those who want to join the sale but can’t make it down in person, a feature which has proven very popular among Hassalls’ sales in Central Queensland.

“Online bidders are generally people who are time poor or who can’t travel say from western NSW to Gladstone to bid on one or two trucks” said Mr Dreaver.

Live webcast bidding is also available for buyers, who will need to visit Hassalls’ website here prior to the sale to register.

The auction will run from 10am on Thursday 27 April, at QAL, Refinery Road, Parsons Point, (Gladstone) QLD.
