Elevate Communication named 2017 Small Consultancy of the Year

Last Thursday I was honoured to accept our industry’s most prestigious national award for the Australian Small Consultancy of the Year from the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) at the Sydney Opera House.

The event was hosted by the ultimate funny man Kenny (aka Shane Jacobson) who entertained the crowd of more than 200 PR and communication professionals from around the country.

The national Golden Target Award recognises our business achievements in the 2017 financial year period, with the agency doubling in size through new business wins with national and internationally recognised brands, the appointment of some of the industry’s most sought after talent and incredible communication program results.

I am humbled to be the only independent agency from Queensland to win a consultancy of the year PRIA award this year. It is incredible to be recognised for our work as we continue to demonstrate to businesses and organisations across our client portfolio the power strategic communication has to deliver phenomenal results. I am also incredibly proud of our team members who are directly responsible for this highly regarded accolade and continue to make Elevate the business it is today.

Over the past 12 months we have worked hard to create a culture that encourages our practitioners to deliver their best work. This allows us to deliver strategic and creative campaigns and to position PR and communications as a critical component for any business. Elevate has worked with countless brands that are household names and is looking forward to delivering more campaigns that are created with a clear understanding of our clients’ market, their customers, and their goals in order to drive tangible outcomes.

PRIA Chief Executive Officer Anne Howard said the 2017 Golden Target Awards competition was at a record high.

“Winning a Golden Target Award is an amazing achievement, even more so in 2017 considering that this year we have received the highest number of entries in the history of the Golden Target Awards,” Ms Howard said.

“This is also the first year in 41 years that the Awards have been open to the entire PR and communication industry.

“We received an enormous amount of truly high-quality submissions and the competition has been fiercer than ever.”

I would like to thank all of our Elevate Communication clients for partnering with us and trusting us to deliver contemporary communication solutions to their business challenges, which has enabled us to grow and evolve. This is certainly an exciting time for our business and I'm looking forward to the year ahead.
