Why launch events are beneficial for your company

So, 2017 has begun! It’s time to use the refreshed feeling you have after (hopefully) some time off to look at what opportunities you can invite into your New Year!

You might be thinking about how you can best boost your company’s morale, enhance client relationships or even entice new business opportunities.

Whether your goal is to increase profit, or generate excitement about a new product or service with your current and potential stakeholders, an event, no matter the size, is an excellent way to kick-start an exciting year for your company.

Why should you hold an event? Well there are many reasons – so let’s just give you three of the top ones!

1.     Brand Awareness

Launched a new business? It’s time to get your brand out there. No matter the size, venue, or product, the main purpose of a launch event is to create brand awareness. This is the type of event where you would invite your employees, suppliers and of course, the media, to help you get your brand out there!

An event launch will generate buzz and attention, which can build sales momentum, your social media audience, while increasing enquiries.

This fun, positive event will resonate with your carefully chosen attendees and employees, therefore, it needs to be full of energy and excitement to set an expectation of what the future holds.

If your company isn’t new, there’s still plenty of opportunities to use an event to generate awareness. Think anniversaries, new product launches and client or customer appreciation nights.

2.     Potential Business Partner Relationships

An event is a great way to demonstrate what your company does and the people behind your brand. Play host to current and potential business partners to build your relationship with the existing, while developing strong leads with the new.

Many opportunities arise from events, so take advantage of them! An event could lead to new business partners wanting to collaborate with you or your product being publicised by credible sources reaching a wide audience that you might not have reached otherwise.

3.     Increased Profit / Return on Investment

Company or product launches are a great example of how you can achieve return on investment. Launches themselves are an investment, but if planned correctly, with the right people there, you will see return on this investment through new business leads, increased awareness to generate sales, or simply through encouraging a boost of morale within your organisation.

Though it is not necessary, when thinking about return on investment, it does help to hold an event that is targeted for a sizable audience. A larger event equals larger reach; a chance to liaise with more potential business partners or customers. However, if you’d rather have a small, ‘exclusive’ event, ensure the media attends so you are communicating the launch to a wide audience, even though a small, targeted group was present. A smaller event also ensures the right people within your organisation can dedicate time to speak to guests and build relationships.

For Elevate, we are looking forward to an exciting 2017 with lots of upcoming events, where our clients celebrate their successes and hard work, while looking towards the year to come!

Events are an excellent way to set the tone for the year and we aim to make every event, a launch or otherwise, a memorable experience, with every element planned meticulously.
